Scott Stoked (real name Scott Yakiwchuk) was a voice actor of Element Animation. He voiced Steve and many other characters. Scott died of a possible heart attack on January 30, 2015. On February 10, 2015, a memoir titled Remembering Scott was posted on Element Animation. On December 26, 2016, An Islamic channel called Munnaaru TV displayed a memoir and Dhivehi News Agency too. After the death of Scott, Steve has an unidentified actor voice him.

Career[]

Scott joined Element Animation in their early days. His first appearance as a voice actor is in Psycho! when he played the narrator explaining how Jason went insane. Due to his talent, he was given the role of a permanent narrator who appeared in several episodes. Scott voiced a number of minor characters in The Crack!, sometimes several in the same episode. When An Egg's Guide to Minecraft started, Scott landed the role of Steve, the deuteragonist, and later The Great and Powerful One. In Power Down, Scott voiced all of the characters in the only episode released. He voiced two of the main characters in Terraria: The Animated Series. Scott provided voices for Element Animation until his death. As confirmed by Dan Lloyd, Scott recorded enough lines to voice Steve posthumously, which he did in An Egg's Guide to Minecraft - PART 16 - The Spirit of Vengeance and Death!
