-JASON TO DAN IN THE CRACK! - THE PLANE

Jason is one of the main characters of the YouTube channel Element Animation and is the main protagonist of The Crack! and An Egg's Guide to Minecraft. Jason is characterized as a mentally unstable egg who the others are usually confused, annoyed and sometimes freaked out by. Jason is the annoyance of Dan in most episodes of The Crack! or any other videos they may appear in.

He is voiced by Jason Sargeant.

Personality[]

Jason is a curious egg who's always wanting to know what's happening. Jason is always energetic and playful, but is prone to outbursts at unexpected times. When in doubt, Jason always trusts Dan, Chrisi, Steve, and George, which may be a weakness in the case of the former. He is very close to George and Steve, mourning George's death and recklessly heading out to free Steve. Jason appears to have bloodshot eyes and an abnormally small left pupil, as well as an unstable and fragile brain, which causes his strange and unpredictable behaviour.

Biography[]

The Crack![]

For almost the entire duration of The Crack!, Jason has lived in the kitchen with Dan and Chrisi. In almost every episode, he gets up to different shenanigans, usually roping in an unwilling Dan and Chrisi.

In The Hunt for Ninjas, Jason is looking for snow ninjas and narrates his expedition to the camera. A ninja wakes behind him and places a confusing sign that reads "A ninja can only be seen." Jason sees the other half of the message. The ninja suddenly comes face-to-face with him, and Jason attempts to take it down Pokemon-style by running, bagging it, and throwing a rock. His first two attempts fail, and a "Scene Missing" screen is shown before the outcome of the third is shown.

In Old Spice Parody, Jason is in the fridge and performs a parody of the Old Spice commercial, conjuring a plate of cheese partway through.

In Psycho! Scott narrates the story of how Jason lost his mind by drinking too much Red Bull and watching hours of YouTube. The effects caused him to attack other characters and say random quotes like "The cake is a lie!" As a result, he was placed in the insane asylum. Jason appears talking to his now split personality and acting hostile and frightened by turns. Dan and Chrisi visit and say the worst things that come to mind to freak him out. Jason mistakes that it's his reflection (as an evil hallucination of himself) taunting him due to the one-way glass. He sees his reflection duplicate into 3 singing the Nyan Cat theme song, making him frightened, (presumably due to him watching it beforehand) when in reality it was him singing it, which hypnotises Dan and Chrisi into singing along.

In VLOG #1, Jason announces that the vlog is to celebrate reaching 100 subscribers, and that they will make a vlog for every milestone. He requests no rabies in the fan mail. He shows off the things they can do as animated eggs by sending Dan to the back with a portal gun. Scott narrates Dan rushing back for revenge. Dan says that the wounded Jason will send a message to the first person to comment.

In The Visitor, Jason wakes Dan to tell him they got fan mail. He begs it not to be rabies. It turns out to be a sleeping egg, startling them both. Charlie wakes up and thinks he's in China, confusing them. Both turn down his offer of a weekend trip to Hawaii for two. It is revealed that Charlie got there in the box by pushing out an egg with "I [heart] Jason" written on it. Jason asks Charlie why he wants to go to China. Charlie says he wants to see a man make cheese out of thin air. Jason says he can do that, and produces a plate of cheese in the same way he did in "Old Spice Parody". Charlie takes a bite despite Dan's efforts to stop him. Dan and Jason panic over Charlie's death and push him off the edge of the counter. Jason begins to hear voices accusing him of murder and wanting cake. He wakes up, revealing that it was all a dream. Later, he writes a rude comment on Charlie's 1M subscribers video. Charlie says that's not very nice, scaring Jason.

In Vlog #2, Jason introduces the vlog and says it was meant to mark 200 subscribers, but they lied. He decides to buy an Xbox to celebrate, to Dan and Chrisi's disapproval. They remind him that they took away his old one because whenever Jason played a game, he thought he was part of the game for days afterward, attacking others and doing crazy things as a result. He decides to buy a PS3 instead, and Dan tells him to get out, which he refuses. He and Dan stare in shock at Chrisi exploding with anger until she reappears. Jason admits she sounds like a boy, and she glares at him until he apologizes. Dan reads a comment asking why Jason has bloodshot eyes, and enclosing a drawing of him holding the portal gun from Vlog #1. Jason thinks it's cool and Dan asks him why his eyes are bloodshot, to which he replies, "I'm special." Jason reads the last comment, asking how long it takes to make an episode of The Crack! He says they try to release one every week or two, calling the animators lazy. A cursor picks him up and dangles him upside down while he screams to be put down. It does and he calls it a moron. Jason complains that he has to be the one to send a message to the first person to comment.

In The Epic Adventure, Jason tells a bored Dan about a crazy adventure he supposedly had. Dan makes fun of him until Chrisi calls him away. Jason is startled by flashes of light preceding the appearance of the DeLorean from Back to the Future. Doc jumps out and calls Jason "Marty", telling him they have to go back and other lines from the movie. Jason trusts him because he has white hair. He is excited by the buttons and pushes them despite Doc's protests, sending them several months back to "The Hunt for Ninjas". Jason recognizes the spot and watches his past self read the signs. The DeLorean rams the ninja out of the way and Present Jason tells Past Jason to get in the car, despite Doc's worries about messing with the time line. Present Jason becomes bored and replaces him in the driver's seat. Past Jason wants to go for waffles. Both Jasons press buttons at the same time, sending them to an unknown time.

In Jason's Holiday, Jason is trapped in a cage swinging above a fire pit. He calls out to the viewers for help, but a man offscreen fires a gun and Jason says he's on holiday and playing a trivia game. He asks the viewers to answer the question correctly. If all the questions are right, Steve runs past without freeing Jason and Dan calls out offscreen. If any of the questions are wrong, Jason tells the viewer of the mistake before Steve shoots through the chain, killing him.

In Mac vs PC, Jason does not understand what he's supposed to say. He builds a tower of keys, thinks everything looks real through 3D glasses, dresses up as a banana while Peanut Butter Jelly Time music plays, and laughs while a Minecraft pig poops all over the floor. Finally, Dan shows him what a PC is, only for him to become confused once again.

In MINI-MESSAGE, Jason is extremely excited about the T-shirts Element is selling. He tries to lie and say the video is not an advertisement, but then says, "Buy my T-shirt." He pulls up a song a rapper wrote explaining why there are three of them.

In The Robot, Jason pops in on Dan while he was on YouTube and buys a robot from an ad for £4995.95. Within seconds, the robot is shipped to Dan and Jason's residence, and Jason activates it. Jason, however, doesn't like the robot's voice, but he tinkers with it and changes it to his liking, to Dan's frustration that they cannot get a refund. After a week of spending time with it, Dan is still annoyed with Jason and ElementBot 1.0 because it hasn't been any real use to them and it cost him nearly £5000. Jason tries to remedy this by ordering the robot to make some money. It starts to analyze the request, but then falls and stops working.

In Crazy Messages, Jason continually messages Dan on an instant messaging website despite being a short distance away. He claims someone is watching him somewhere in the kitchen. When he leaves, Mustache Guy takes over and sends Dan smileys. Jason returns and Dan thinks someone really is watching him. He asks Jason to stop doing that, to which Jason asks, "Doing what?" aloud. Dan asks where Mustache Guy is. Jason reveals that wasn't who was watching him and says it was Dan, before hopping away singing.

In The Meeting, Jason asks if they don't have enough funding because Dan and Chrisi suck. The Boss says 98.5% of people say no. He sends Dan and Jason to ask The Elder One for help. Jason is excited, thinking he might give him waffles. The two enter his domain and are stopped by a message ordering them to bow down to Google. Both Jason and Dan are confused that Jason can read it. They bow down, and The Elder One appears. Jason asks him for waffles. The Elder One says he wants something in return for their help, and Jason gives him cheese, which he accepts. Back in the meeting room, Dan says Google is dead, implying that Jason killed The Elder One with cheese. Jason cries over not getting his waffles. He suggests some people he knows who might be willing to collaborate.

In HOW NOT TO BE BORED, Jason serves as Chrisi's guinea pig/victim for her ideas. He tries to look at his brain and cries at his failure, pretends to be controlling Dan with his mind, getting a strange look, cannot find Waldo/Wally, and is punched in the face by Chrisi activating a fist on a spring.

In ZOMBIE EGGS!, Jason excitedly shows Dan the advancing zombie eggs. He thinks they stole his face, to which Dan replies that he turned around. He tries to help Dan fight them off by throwing cheese at them, but it doesn't work and only makes them stronger when they eat it. Dan smiles wickedly at him until he gets an idea and helps Dan push the zombies off the counter. Jason then shows Dan the vampires. He asks if they should be on fire due to the daylight. Last, he shows Dan ghosts, which Dan and the viewers cannot see.

In CHRISTMAS, Jason asks the others what they're doing and gasps upon seeing the snow. He instantly decorates the counter for Christmas and asks where his present is. Dan uses his mind-reading device on Jason last and it plays elevator music. Jason is last to unwrap his present, a duplication device. He jumps on it and produces three clones of himself. The clones are thrilled to find copies of themselves, though it creeps Dan out. Jason orders the clones to do his bidding, which they accept. He says hi to Sam Pepper. The three of them are then tied up while Sam prepares to take over their YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter, making all three plead not the Twitter. Jason cries at the replaced YouTube background because it used to be his picture. The clones return, confused about what bidding means, and wondering if Jason meant going on eBay. The third doesn't know his name. The gang order them to help them. Sam asks who they are. Two of them say they're called Jason and the other is too, and the third thinks he's Sam Pepper. Dan, untied, orders the clones to get the tank. The three of them chase Sam on a tank while singing the "Holidays are Coming" Coca-Cola song. It is revealed that Jason and the clones performed a horrible cover of the Trololo. Jason later sold his clones to Santa Claus, who employed them as toymakers, resulting in thousands of children getting cheese the next Christmas.

In The End, Jason flies through space in the second intro attempt. He is shaken into the air by the earthquake and dropped onto the counter. He wakes up and says they will answer the first twenty comments no matter how weird. All three eggs are blown away by the explosion.

In HACKED ACCOUNT!, Jason tells Dan someone changed their YouTube password. He tries the password "****", which is not accepted. Dan types in the password, which Jason confuses for the same thing. The computer says they have entered the wrong password 9000 times and will be assimilated. Jason doesn't know what that means, and he and Dan are sucked into the Internet and greeted by the guy who explodes. Jason wants to look around, while Dan just wants to get their account back. The two are stopped on a bridge by Cursor To The Cheek Egg. Jason decides the episode will be a three-parter, breaking the fourth wall, then asks the viewers to subscribe. Dan wonders who he's talking to, and Jason lies and says him.

In HACKED AGAIN!, Jason has an encounter with Chatroulette pervert and realizes they need to go to Yahoo Answers. The eggs there suggest climbing Mt. Noob. Jason is confused by the one who says "You have my axe" because he doesn't have one. Jason is slowed down by dragging an axe with his mouth. He says "Subscribe!" once again, Dan asks who he's talking to, and he says it's none of his business.

In We Weren't Hacked!?, Dan is ejected from the Internet in the middle of searching for Jason. Chrisi reveals that she told Dan and Jason she was changing the YouTube password while the guys were playing Twister. While Dan and Jason were climbing Mt. Noob, Jason became bored and found a ski lift to go down and do something else. Dan followed him down, and Jason entered a building seconds before Dan passed by. The camera reveals the building as Minecraft, showing how Jason got into the game before the events of An Egg's Guide to Minecraft. Dan kept running until he found the exit. Chrisi realizes Jason is lost in the Internet. Dan tells her where they can get a better Jason. A mysterious invisible object (presumed to be The Great and Powerful One) slides down Mt. Noob and follows Jason into Minecraft.

In XCUBE ONE WITH ADDED KINOCT!, Jason is on a boat trying to reach a piece of cheese on a stormy sea. A giant Mustache Guy appears and swallows the boat whole, only to reveal that it was Jason's imagination and he's actually on a toy boat in the kitchen sink with Mustache Guy pretending to be evil. Jason scolds him for getting out of character and smiling. He decides to get Dan or Chrisi to replace him. Chrisi comments that they haven't seen Jason in ages, implying that he was in Minecraft the whole time and somehow escaped. Dan introduces him to Jeff, an inanimate rock that they replaced him with. Chrisi volunteers to be the new villain. The two laugh in the background while Dan talks to Jeff in his imagination. Jeff suggests that Dan spend time with his friends, showing him Chrisi swimming around the boat while glaring at Jason. Dan asks Jason if he can join. Jason teasingly asks if he can handle it. Dan thinks Jason can't surprise him anymore, but finds the two of them on the sea. Jason says ominously, "You're in my mind now." Post-credits, Jason screams that the bass (literal fish) is dropping (on the boat).

In THE PLANE, Jason asks Dan to help push him off the edge. Dan agrees and starts to push Jason toward it, but he protests and shows Dan the cardboard plane he built with his incredible knowledge on the subject (an Internet tutorial). Dan reminds him he had no idea what one was until recently. Jason puts on his helmet and jumps into the pilot seat. He counts to three incorrectly while Dan pushes him off. The plane takes off and zooms around the kitchen while Jason sings the Top Gun theme. When something goes wrong, Jason requests permission to perform an emergency landing. Dan is confused and denies permission. The plane crashes on the floor. Post-credits, Jason is revealed floating down with a parachute.

In The Fugitive, Jason runs up to Dan and Chrisi, calling out for help, while being pursued by Sgt. Clive and Officer Spud. He hides behind Dan, begging them to save him. The potatoes show a drawing of a fugitive who looks a lot like Jason. Dan gives his friend up to them. Jason tries to lie and say he saw a fugitive passing by. Clive orders Spud to cuff him. Because the handcuffs are human-sized, they fit around Jason's entire body, allowing him to slip out. Clive tells Spud to tase him, but they have no Tasers and Clive suggests using his baton. Jason stabs Spud with a fork, then runs away with Chrisi and Dan. The three are hiding on a bookshelf when Clive passes below them, asking to get Jason. Jason thinks he'll take them all. Clive suddenly pops up and places them all under arrest. Jason leads them into a vent filled with things from his adventures. They flee into a room filled with cheese, which he orders them not to touch. Just as Clive is about to check it out, Jason screams at him to not touch anything. The gang continue passing through random rooms until they find a large group of broccoli that worship Jason because he once saved them. The broccoli pick up and pass the gang to the other side, where Dan leads them into a maze. Chrisi asks Jason if he knows the way out, and he laughs and says no. Dan asks why he has a maze. Jason says, "Have you seen The Maze?" then reveals that he hasn't. The guys join Chrisi in the middle and find something shocking. When Clive comes along, Chrisi reveals that Jason wasn't the fugitive and shows him the real one. Jason is freed and explodes in excitement. When they get back to the counter, Dan wonders what to do with Spud's body. Jason suggests, "CHIPS!"

In Jason becomes a SUPERHERO! Jason excitedly runs to greet Dan and show off his superhero costume, which is him with a green fabric cape taped on and a mask drawn on his face with a marker. Dan refuses to allow a superhero video to be made, explaining that there are too many superhero movies and Jason isn't good enough to become popular. Jason puts on a deep voice and says no one cared who he was until he put his mask on. Dan thinks no one cares who he is now, and that's a quote from Bane. Chrisi makes an appearance as Jason's sidekick, explaining that he pays her hourly. Dan asks what powers Jason has, and Jason says he can fly. Chrisi reveals that he tried and fell. Despite this, Jason announces his plan to save the kitchen. Durian suddenly makes a dramatic appearance, but Jason shows no fear and tries to persuade the others to fight. Chrisi refuses because his hour is up and he wasted most of it trying to look good. Nevertheless, Jason tries to fight Durian with brute strength, but the fruit is too heavy and throws him across the counter. Dan flees to the sink, calling for Jason to help. Jason begins to tease Durian from the other side, calling for him to come get him. The angry villain tries to come for him, but Jason tries to fly off the edge, falling onto the lever to open the garbage can. Durian skids to a halt on the edge, but is too late to stop himself falling in. The gang celebrate Jason saving the kitchen, at which Mysterious Stranger asks Jason to join her league of superheroes. Dan interrupts and says he's fine. Jason asks him about the possibility of making sequels and a cinematic universe, but Dan is having none of it and carries him off. During the bloopers, Jason becomes friends with Gregg.

An Egg's Guide to Minecraft[]

Throughout the events of An Egg's Guide to Minecraft, Jason has traveled through the world of Minecraft. He comes across and befriends Steve, but when the latter is taken to the End, Jason gathers help to save him until he is captured as well.

In Part 1, Jason is wandering around Minecraft and wonders where he is. A disembodied voice explains that he is in Minecraft and starts to explain what it is, but Jason is too quickly distracted. It introduces him to a cow and a pig. Jason jumps on the pig, names him George, and sets off to conquer all. While Jason is riding George, the voice tries to tell him he needs shelter to survive the night. Jason snaps that he's busy. The voice tries to warn him about the hostile creatures, but he doesn't listen. He enters a cave and is spooked by mobs, riding out again and deciding he must build.

In Part 2, Jason is riding George around and asks the voice how to build a house. The voice starts to explain, but Jason notices it's different. The voice says it's in his head, which it proves by making him fall off George. Jason believes it and asks how to build. Throughout the day, Jason gathers resources and builds a house, but only one wall is finished by nighttime and a ring of hostile mobs is closing in. Jason tries to ride George through the door, but they are stopped by a creeper. The episode cuts on Jason screaming as a spider leaps at them.

In Part 3, George bucks Jason over the ring of mobs and is then eaten. Jason cries out for his pig, but this attracts the attention of the mobs. He flees into the forest until he loses them. Some zombies and creepers start catching up, and Jason keeps running until he loses his breath, and asks if they should sleep. They all sleep until daytime, when Jason sees the zombies burning up and the creepers laughing. The two creepers notice him and continue chasing him until they corner him on the edge of a ravine. The voice in Jason's head tries to praise his escape plan, but he yells at it until the sound of a bow and arrow stops him. The first creeper died of an arrow, Steve takes out the second creeper and, having never seen anyone like Jason before, menaces him with his bow and arrow.

In Part 4, Steve thinks that if Jason's not a cube, he must be flat. Jason corrects him and says he's round, at which Steve points a sword at him in angry disbelief. The voice in Jason's head cautions him on following a stranger. Jason asks Steve where they're headed. Steve reveals that he's taking Jason to a nearby settlement for food. When they arrive, a villager says they're under attack from a beast. Steve rushes off to deal with it, while Jason stays behind. The voice starts to tell him what NPC villages are, but he gets bored and follows Steve. Both of them jump out to attack the beast, and discover it's a cow.

In Part 5, Jason watches the warrior try to kill the cow. He approaches it while Steve is busy, thinking it looks familiar. He flashes back to Part 1 and decides it must be a pig and he can ride it. The village reveres Jason as a "pig-tamer". Steve tells him the book tells them how to find someone, when Jason asks who, he says "Notch."

In Part 6, Jason asks Steve who Notch is. Steve takes him to the library to find out. He accidentally pulls out a book connected to a hidden piston that drops Jason into the basement. Once there, Jason sees the villagers sending one of their own to the land of Xbox. He finds a chest with diamonds and an eye of ender and eats them. While searching for the exit, he accidentally steps on a pressure plate that returns him to the outside. When he gets back, Steve tells him they need diamonds to find Notch, but Jason doesn't know what diamonds are.

In Part 7, Jason is put on trial for the theft of the diamonds, revealing that he got caught because a villager burst into the library to report the theft, only to see him burp one out. The judge accuses him of stealing from a young gentleman that he cannot pick out, offending the entire courtroom. Two witnesses want to convict him without knowing what really happened. When the second one suggests execution, Steve steps in as his lawyer. The judge frees Jason for one block of dirt. The two friends leap joyfully only to freeze oddly in midair.

In Part 8, Jason is tired from a long day of traveling with Steve. They stop for the night, where the voice inside Jason's head returns. Steve overhears him talking to it and asks who he is talking to. The voice prompts him to say nobody. Steve departs to get firewood, and the voice cautions Jason on letting Steve find out he's hearing voices. That night, Jason asks Steve how far they have to go to find Notch. While Steve is explaining his quest for his life's purpose, Jason falls asleep. He sleeps through the arrow attack on the camp.

In Part 9, Steve overhears Jason talking to a cow about their adventure. He accidentally swats Jason into the air while attacking it. Jason wants to know why he punched the "pig" he was talking to. The voice confirms that there never was a pig. Jason asks Steve why he's small. Steve asks why he is floating. The camera reveals Jason hanging stationary in midair as he screams and rotates. He continues shrieking as he drifts to the ground and settles. Steve becomes irritated and punches him into midair again. Jason screams throughout the rest of the episode, though the sound fades out when Steve has a vision showing him the eye of ender Jason ate.

Jason 2

Jason the ☠️psycho

In Part 10, Jason is annoyed with Steve and demands why he was punching him. Steve explains about the eye of ender and the vision that showed him how to find a stronghold. Jason spits out the eye, saying they could have avoided hitting him. He hops off in response to Steve's teasing. Steve suddenly falls into a hole while Jason is complaining, and soon after Jason falls into a minecart in front of him, blaming the accident on him. The cart races away, following another cart with the eye of ender down a track. Jason screams at the upcoming loop-the-loop. The two are stopped at a train crossing where they stare at Segway Creeper. While the two are flying in slow motion through a lava cave, Jason turns into The Great and Powerful One's head before Steve's eyes. The pair land safely in their minecart only to crash. Steve finds Jason unconscious and attempts to rouse him before seeing the massive statue in front of them.

Jason

please help me😭😭

In Part 12, Jason becomes delirious, insulting Steve, saying random things (even in Spanish), and briefly foaming at the mouth, but mostly stays unconscious. The villager notices his distress, which Steve blames on the crash. At the end, Steve carries Jason to the stronghold entrance, complaining about the weight of the diamonds he ate.

In Part 13, Steve wakes Jason, now back to normal, at the entrance to the End portal room. He leads Jason into the room and shows him how to activate the portal, but just as they try to jump in, The Great and Powerful One blocks them. Jason starts to panic when he sees the mobs being summoned, and Steve decides to run. The two flee down the tunnels with Jason screaming. When the chase is disrupted, Steve finds himself beside Jason, who says the game is updating. Jason laughs at a creeper making faces until they return to the tunnel and continue the chase. Jason collides with Steve on the edge of a ravine, knocking him off. Steve climbs up and leads Jason halfway across the bridge, only to become trapped. Jason is first to gasp when he sees The Great and Powerful One return.

In Part 14, Steve throws Jason to the other side of the bridge, yelling for him to run, but The Great and Powerful One possesses him. He is only freed when Steve fakes his death. He demands to know who The Great and Powerful One is to order Steve's capture. He asks if Jason recognizes him, at which Jason hears a montage of the voices inside his head and realizes who the real source is. He is horrified to see Steve rendered unconscious. The Great and Powerful One thanks Jason for bringing him back, which he does not understand, then says he's outlived his purpose and orders his mobs to chase him back into the tunnels.

In Part 15, Jason appears fleeing the mobs on George's back, delighted to be reunited with his pig. The two hide around a corner and watch the mobs run straight past them. They are startled by another set of footsteps, but then Jason realizes it's alone and they can fight it. They jump out and tackle the villager from the ravine. He begs them not to eat him, then recognizes Jason. Jason introduces himself and George as his "cow". The egg is desperate to rescue Steve no matter the risk, and allows George to growl at the villager to convince him. The villager says that they should go back to his village for supplies and to find others to help. George nods at Jason to go with him, and Jason agrees if it's quick. While running through the forest, the villager introduces himself as Villager #37, which Jason laughs at. The three are suddenly stopped by a group of mobs. Several flaming arrows kill some of the attackers. Jason mistakes the source for Steve, but it's revealed to be Alex. She kills all of the mobs and points her sword warily at Jason.

In Part 16, Jason asks Alex for help, but she is doubtful of his story. He cannot explain why they need diamonds to find Notch due to the theft of the guidebook, and says Steve's nicer than her. Villager #37 claims that Jason threatened him with his "beast". The four travel through the forest while talking. Jason and Villager #37 exchange strange looks at Alex's dramatic self-introduction as "The Spirit of Vengeance and Death!". Jason gasps at the sight of Extremely Flamboyant Creeper. Alex kills him to prevent him from reporting Jason's whereabouts to The Great and Powerful One. The next morning, they arrive at the Sand village. Jason is on edge and only cares about saving Steve, which Alex is sarcastic about.

In Part 17, Jason asks the villagers to join the fight and save Steve. He appears during the montage, watching Alex train the villagers with poor results. At the end, he decides the training is taking too long and takes George to the woods to free Steve.

In Part 18, a villager startles a sleeping Alex and says he was looking for Jason. Alex complains that he might lose "her" diamonds. During the invasion, Alex realizes the mobs are looking for Jason and orders a villager to find him first. He enters a house and tells a child and his father what he's looking for. The child says he saw Jason leaving the village with George. Jason and George are seen walking through the forest. The trail forks, and Jason asks George if he knows the way to the End portal. They are startled by rustles in the grass. George tries to protect Jason, but he becomes frightened as well. It turns out to be a rabbit. Jason laughs at the incident, until a zombie stops them and a ring of mobs surrounds them. George clears a path, scoops up Jason, and runs away down the trail with his owner celebrating their escape, until an enderman stops them. George skids to a halt, dumping Jason on the path. Jason cries out for the captive George until a zombie pigman knocks him out with a blow to the head. The villager sees Jason and George being carried off by the mobs. He returns to the Sand village and tells Alex what happened. She decides to go save him with the villager. In the End headquarters, Jason wakes up and gasps. Steve comes out and threatens him with a sword in the same manner he did with his bow when they first met, seeming to have forgotten Jason.

Element Shorts[]

In the Element Shorts, Jason gets up to random hijinks, usually calling Dan first to ask him something.

In Chairs, Jason is on a higher chair than Dan and brags that he is taller. His chair sinks to below Dan's, disappointing him.

In Missing, Chrisi asks Dan if he's seen Jason, which he was going to ask her. She wants him to try on makeup, which Dan also wants him to do something he's not fond of. Once the two go their separate ways, Jason opens his eyes and reveals that his face was painted to look like the wall (though an egg shape can be seen in the background throughout the short).

In Hi, Dan walks up to Jason and introduces himself as Jason. Jason is confused until the camera reveals both of them are now Jason.

In Silence, Dan greets Jason, but he does not respond and falls over, revealing he's a cardboard standie.

In Rolling, Jason is randomly rolling around the counter screaming when Dan asks what he's doing. Shortly afterward, Dan joins him.

In Pig, Jason is having fun riding in circles on a pig (possibly George) when Dan asks if he's riding a pig. Jason stops and says Dan is. The camera reveals Dan on the pig instead.

In An Egg's Guide to Bacon and Eggs, Jason is sitting on a pig on the counter and says "No".

In Poke, a finger enters the screen and pokes Jason in the eye.

In Dan! Dan!, Jason runs onto the counter calling for Dan, but finds a villager.

In Backflip, Jason challenges Dan to a backflip contest. Dan does his flip first, but Jason jumps, floats up offscreen, and phases back through the counter.

In Therapist, Jason is seeing a therapist who gives him a Rorschach test. He sees a complicated picture in the last one. The therapist is amazed by his imagination, only to turn around and see exactly what Jason described.

In Hahahahahaha!, Dan asks Chrisi where Jason is. Irritated, she reports that he was pestering her and she trapped him somewhere. Jason is revealed in the microwave, spinning and letting out an annoyingly high-pitched laugh, unaware of the danger.

In NOSAJ!, Jason repeatedly addresses Dan as "Nad", claiming everyone's weakness is hearing their name backward. Dan then calls Jason "Nosaj", making him faint.

In Counting, Jason counts backward from ten and then announces that the viewers wasted ten seconds of their lives.

In Real, Jason asks Dan if he is real. Dan says no, making Jason float upward and disintegrate.

In RACE, Jason is preparing to race Dan. Dan gets a head start, but Jason recites the Konami code and speeds past him.

Other[]

In An Introduction to ElementAnimation2, Jason rewatches ZOMBIE EGGS!, laughing at himself for thinking his face was stolen, while referring to his past self in third person. He sees a new video and clicks on it, revealing a clone of himself who tells him about ElementAnimation2. It is revealed that a third Jason is watching them, and he decides to subscribe. This confuses a fourth Jason who is watching them.

In How well do you know Element Animation? Jason and Steve are hanging out when Villager #9 brings the goody bag. Jason asks what it is and if he can have it. Steve explains that they're giving it to one of their subscribers. Jason sits on The Beast and presents the first question: "What am I sitting on? A cow, a pig, or a tree?"

Videos by other people[]

Jason appears in several videos made by others uploaded on Element Animation 2. He appears in the speedpaints of "An Egg's Guide to Minecraft" and "The Bridge" by Element's own Wayne Oram, and in "Hello Brother!", "Forest Battle", and the unnamed speedpaint of Steve grabbing the eye of ender by BinOfTrash, the voice of the Australian voice in Part 14.

Comics[]

Jason appeared in several of the Element comics.

In "Mario Mushroom", Steve warns Jason to not wander too far as they are in a dangerous area. Jason agrees, but he comes across a Mario mushroom and eats it, which causes him to grow gigantic. He returns to Steve to tell him what he found, but frightens him off.

In "Blown Up Again", Jason bounces down a hill, exclaiming that what he just saw was amazing. Steve scolds him for his reaction to him getting blown up by a creeper. Jason, having no idea that this is a bad thing, accidentally reveals that he ordered another creeper.

In "Wayne's World", Jason passes by leading Dan and Chrisi somewhere.

In "Art Class", Jason draws a stickman with a top hat, as opposed to the egg model. The teacher finds it impressive.

In "UFO", Jason is abducted by aliens, but seems perfectly happy to let them beam him up and perform experiments on him. They attempt to find some intelligence in him, but are unable to even find plant-like intelligence. They decide he's the dumbest creature on earth and drop him, with Steve waiting to catch him.

Merch[]

Jason appears on several pieces of Element's merch, such as T-shirts and posters.

Trivia[]

  • Jason has killed at least four (presumably five) characters in The Crack! The first was Charlie by accidentally letting him eat the deadly cheese in his dream in The Visitor. The second was The Elder One (offscreen accidentally with the cheese again) in The Meeting. The third and fourth were two zombie eggs in ZOMBIE EGGS! by pushing them off the counter with Dan's help. The fifth was Officer Spud in The Fugitive by stabbing him with a fork (offscreen). An unconfirmed kill was Hurt Egg that was mentioned at the beginning in Psycho.
    • The zombie eggs are the only characters he killed on purpose.
    • Additionally, he killed two Minecraft zombies by tricking them into sleeping until they burn in the daylight in Egg's Guide Part 3.
  • In the old Element Animation outro, where the title starts flying into the screen, when the title is falling down, an egg stops it from falling down. The egg has the same eyes as Jason, though they are fully white. Jason's eyes are bloodshot, but it is possible that the egg is Jason's original model before he was updated.
  • He has Anisocoria, making one pupil bigger than the other. Otherwise, he has a different eye color in each eye: His left eye is completely brown while his right eye's inner iris is dark brown, the outer iris is green.
  • It's implied in Egg's Guide Part 13 that Jason might not like One Direction, opposite to Steve, because he asks him why people like them.
  • Jason has a "superhero" alter ego as of Jason becomes a SUPERHERO!, but appears to be unnamed as he seems fine with everyone calling him Jason or Jas. In this form, he is convinced he can fly despite being proved otherwise.
